Pusian Culture
By reading Pursian liturature, you can gather facts about Pursian culture. When reading Pursian liturature it is easy to see the Pursians worshiped one god. The Pursians honored thier god Allah and made sacrifices to him. "The Manners of Kings" showed that Pursians believed in justice but at the same time were compassionate to others and followed good morals. The Rubaiyat inforces these Pursian characturistics and shows the Pursian honor of life itself.

Gilgamesh Flood vs Bible Flood
In my senior english class I have recently read the story of Gilgamesh and the great flood. I think that this liturature written long ago is verry similar to the flood story in the bible. The people are different in each story but similar events take place. In both stories a flood is forseen, a large boat was built to save the people and animals, and a bird confirms when the land is dry. I think the stories are simillar because the flood did take place and a man who built a boat saved the creations on the earth.
